The Drilling Fluids Department at Makman Oil Services operates specialized laboratory facilities staffed by experienced chemists to test and analyze well fluids and chemicals for operational and quality control purposes. These analyses are
performed at the customer’s request or to verify the quality of the chemicals.
Laboratory services evaluate the reaction compositions of chemicals and drilling
fluids under simulated downhole temperature and pressure conditions. Chemists conduct research and development to develop new products and formulations for field application. The laboratories are also used to train new engineers.
